Jane Thorne - President & Chief Executive Officer

Jane Thorne has over 30 years of experience in the real estate and property management industry. Jane holds the designation of a Certified General Accountant and is licensed under the Real Estate Services Act of British Columbia. She serves in the Strata Management Advisory Committee for the Real Estate Council of British Columbia and previously served as the Vice President of the Board with the British Columbia Apartment Owners and Managers Association and the Education Chair of the Strata Property Agents of British Columbia.

Les Porter - Executive Vice President

Les Porter has over 32 years of experience in the property management and development. Les is responsible for all marketing and operational aspects of the company. He is licensed under the Real Estate Services Act of British Columbia and previously served as a member of the Education Committee with the Urban Development Institute.

Wendy Shum - Chief Financial Officer

Wendy Shum has over 15 years of experience in the property management and public practice industry. Wendy is responsible for overseeing the financial aspects and the business and technological systems of the company as well as all aspects of the accounting and administrative department. She holds the designation of a Certified General Accountant and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia.

Scott Douglas - Vice President

Scott has over 15 years of senior managerial experience in high-growth entrepreneurial companies in the service and manufacturing sectors. He possesses a unique distinctive balance between managerial, financial, and operational ability. As a results-oriented manager, he has led organizations in achieving accolades including Canada’s 50 Best, BC’s Top Employers, and several ISO:9001 installations. Scott is responsible for the operation aspects of the company's Strata Division. He holds a Bachelor in Business Administration, a diploma in Technology, and completed his studies with the Society of Management Accountants of British Columbia.

Ram Atwal - Human Resources Manager

Ram Atwal joins our team with over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with the last 8 years focusing on the Human Resources sector. Upon completion of her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration in 2004, Ram also completed her Post Baccalaureate in Human Resources Management in 2009. She is currently a member of the BC Human Resources Management Association and in her role manages all aspects of human resources policies and administration, benefits administration, corporate events, health and safety, recruitment and acts as the Privacy Officer for all corporate matters.

Tanya Millage - Regional Director

Tanya Millage joined VCS in 2011 in the role of Regional Director. Tanya has over 12 years of experience as a Strata Manager, and General Manager of a large management company. Tanya now co-manages the day to day operations of approximately 20 Strata Agents.

Jane Teghararian - Vice President of Finance

Jane Teghararian is a Certified General Accountant and has the important role of administering the accounting and administration department. Jane exercises the necessary controls and checks on all client funds, and oversees the day-to-day workflow in the accounting and administration department. As A CGA, Jane is qualified to professionally advise our strata property agents and our clients in all technical accounting matters. The combined budgets of VCS clients exceeds $47 million per annum and over $24 million is held in investment portfolios.

Peter Chan - Regional Director

Peter has over 15 years of experience in the property management industry. As a Regional Director at VCS, Peter supervises a team of strata managers and oversees their day-to-day operations. He is also responsible for training and seminars for his team. Peter is a graduate of Langara College, where he earned his P.E. & Recreation degree in 1988. Peter is a licensed Strata Representative under the Real Estate Services Act of British Columbia.
